Description: This scenic stained glass window appears to be 100% original. It is of a trellis with entwined jeweled grape clusters and grape leaves against a soft mottled blue sky with a beautiful stylized cala lily in the foreground. It was crafted around 1895 in the Midwest, probably Indianapolis. The glass in the sky is hammered glass with a fiery quality that is not found in today's glass. The leaves are varigated ripple glass of varying shades and textures. The jeweled grapes are multi-colored and cabochon shaped (half round in this case), giving the window a real three-dimensional quality. There are a few minor cracks, but is in overall great condition. It comes in a modern wood frame.
