Description: This original old window has a fine mixure of textured glass types and a large degree of translucency. Its clear, granite-textured field glass sparkles in any light.
Of note is the center diamond. This rare hand-made "chipped" beveled glass jewel was made by cleaving the outer edge of a piece of plate glass, a little at a time, with a special tool until the chipping pattern is uniform all around. This is a lost art because of the time and skill required.
Scarlet red jewels complete the composition.
