Description: This is a Victorian window. It combines a top to bottom flowing floral pattern in the aesthetic Movement taste with two classical rosette motifs. The colors are quite vivid when looked at individually, yet all these strong colors work together in harmony. Talented Victorian designers with access to top quality glass of the period made windows that are impossible to replicate today.

The majority of field glass is a highly translucent flat-roll material. The jewels interspersed throughout add a fanciful nature. There are many mouth-blown rondelles along with jewels of many shapes and colors. I particularly appreciate the striated opalescent pinched jewels in the borders.

Throughout, the glass is excellent. The original frame was unsalvageable. I have photos of the original structure, a grand home that still stands in Toledo.
