Description: Here is a charming small panel. It is made of a single sheet of thick plate glass. The background is heavily ‘frosted’ by deep acid etching. The radiant star was created by laborious and exacting wheel cutting and polishing techniques. Together the rays, or miters, of the star create a kaleidoscopic effect when your eyes move even the slightest amount. The clear border band is also hand worked to bend light for the lucky viewer.
