Art Nouveau beveled windows were never commonplace in America, having made a brief appearance roughly from 1895 to 1913. The quality of these windows is typically quite fine. While Victorian designs of the day utilized a very narrow and predictable palette of design elements, Art Nouveau drew design inspiration from all of nature. This departure from predictability raised many an eyebrow.
